Newt one of Oxlatl and Mei Ling's animalistic siblings

characterised by her huge front legs Newt is half Fire-Bellied Newt and Half Border Collie. She will follow the largest group of reptiles she can find due to her pack instincts, although Newt is not human-like she is one of the smarter siblings and is very compassionate and understanding; but can seem a bit over eager, especially when meeting new people

one of Newt's favourite past-times is to cling to the ceiling and surprise people who visit, as well as herding the more unruly family members back home

Mei Ling - Reference Sheet

Thought I'd start off by make the my most challenging character's design first especially since I hadn't begun to think about Mei Ling's colour palette xD

but I definately needed to get her designed so that I could actually draw the interactions that are going on in my head so here she is :3

Mei Ling is a komodo dragon Kunoichi (or female ninja) who has pinpoint accuracy and deadly fangs. most of her time is taken up looking after her large extended family, she gets along best with her brother, Oxlatl, and her more animalistic sister, Newt.
- She wears bamboo arm protectors and a gold-effect arm bangle
- The family have a dart board in their home that has a hole worn through the middle front Mei Ling's constant target practice
- She has a fascination with fire and overly sharp objects. 
- She collects rare weapons, keys and cuddly toy penguins (although no one has ever seen them and been brave enough to say anything)

she is tough, serious and territorial but will warm to others over long periods of time
